Well-known Malaysian singer Tan Kheng Seong will also sing at the opening ceremony. The festival, which will run from Saturday through Oct. 28, aims to provide the city's residents with an opportunity to taste cuisine and fruits from 10 Malaysian states.

All consumers during the festival at Central Walk will receive a special gift from the Ministry of Tourism of Malaysia, and 10 people, chosen through lucky draws every day, will be offered free air tickets for a seven-day trip to the country.

Sponsored by the Han Li Po restaurant, the festival marks the first cooperation between the city's Central Walk and the Ministry of Tourism of Malaysia.
