Monks of Tibetan Buddhism walk into a hall of the Yonghe Lamasery to debate scriptures in Beijing October 13. The monks, after passing the debate, would be promoted to higher ranks. Living Buddha Nacang and monks from the lamasery observed the first day of debate.
