China Machinery Industry Federation says the country's auto market should perform better this year.
The Association Deputy Director Zhang Xiaoyu told the People's Daily that China's auto market will top six million cars in 2005.
He says the slow-down of car sales last year led to the delay of buying. But it won't stop the purchasing will of consumers and their ability to buy cars.
The industry analyst predicts that domestic car sales will grow at a rate of 15 to 20 percent this year.
