According to the Secretariat of the 4th Plenary Session of the 10th National Committee of the Chinese People's Political Consultative Conference (CPPCC), China's top advisory body, its spokesman Wu Jianmin will chair a press conference at the Press Room of the Great Hall of the People in Beijing at 3 PM on March 2.
Journalists with the press cards issued by the 4th Plenary Session of the 10th National People's Congress (NPC) and the 4th Plenary Session of the 10th CPPCC National Committee are welcome to attend.
The 4th Plenary Session of the 10th CPPCC National Committee is scheduled to open on March 3. The chief agenda for the session include a hearing of the report on the work of the National Committee's Standing Committee in 2005 and how their suggestions and proposals were handled over the year, the 4th session of the 10th NPC, a hearing and discussion on various other government work reports, and a discussion of the draft 11th Five-Year Guidelines.
