Forbes CEO Forum to Be Held in Shanghai

The three-day 3rd Annual Forbes Global CEO Conference Asia will be held from next Tuesday in Shanghai with more than 450 business celebrities expected to attend from home and abroad, today's Eastday.com reported.

Preparations are due for the first large-scale international conference held in the city after SARS, according to the event's organizers cited in the report.

The epidemic has left no negative impacts on the event, as the 450 participants has far outnumbered the organizer's earlier expectation of 350 and will set the record of visitors for the global forum.

The CEO conference will be attracting wide attention from across the world, as more than 300journalists from 120-plus media from home and abroad have applied to gather in the city to cover the event.

The theme for this forum is "Energizing Global Business: The China Factor".

More than 40 business people will deliver speeches throughout the forum under such subtopics as "Made in China and exported to the world ","Brand-building: selling to the Chinese consumer "and "Banks and the capital markets in China".

Forbes Group is a US-based international media group. Its Forbes magazine has a global circulation of 1 million with readers exceeding 4 million.
