Li Peng, chairman of the Standing Committee of the National People's Congress, will pay an official goodwill visit to Cambodia, Brunei and the Republic of Korea (ROK) from May 18 to 27.

Chairman Li is invited by President Ranarith of the Cambodian National Assembly and Prime Minister Hun Sen of the Cambodian government, the government of Brunei Darussalam, and Speaker Lee Man-Sup of the ROK National Assembly, Foreign Ministry Spokesman Sun Yuxi announced at the ministry's routine press briefing in Beijing on Thursday.
