Li Zhuoxuan, from the Beijing Dance Academy was crowned the winner of the competition.
Shi Hongliang, vice secretary of China Jewelry Industry Association, said, "Jewelry models are meant to showcase the beauty of woman and the beautify of the jewelry. It's a harmony of humanity and nature."
A burgeoning field in China, jewelry modeling belongs to a highly specialized part of the modeling industry. Skillful application of body language highlights the glitter of the jewels the models wear. Li Zhuoxuan, the winner of the competition, is a student at Beijing Dance Academy. She says she owes her success to professional performance training.
Li Zhuoxuan, winner of Jewelry Model Competition, said, "Jewelry modeling means to showcase the beauty of jewels. Fashion models display as a whole. Each has different requirements for the models' performance."
China's jewelry industry has seen rapid development in recent years. That trend is expect to continue, with the assistance of jewelry models whose elegant bearing adds lustre to the natural works of art.
