金磚合作已經(jīng)走過了10年光輝歷程，我們五國雖然山海相隔，但懷著合作共贏的共同目標(biāo)走到了一起。

?BRICS cooperation has traversed a glorious journey of one decade. Though separated by mountains and oceans, our five countries have been closely bound by a shared commitment to win-win cooperation.

中國古人說：“交得其道，千里同好，固于膠漆，堅于金石。”金磚合作之所以得到快速發(fā)展，關(guān)鍵是找準(zhǔn)了合作之道，這就是互尊互助，攜手走適合本國國情的發(fā)展道路；秉持開放包容、合作共贏的精神，持之以恒推進(jìn)經(jīng)濟(jì)、政治、人文合作；倡導(dǎo)國際公平正義，同其他新興市場國家和發(fā)展中國家和衷共濟(jì)，共同營造良好的外部環(huán)境。

As an ancient Chinese saying goes, “A partnership formed with the right approach defies geographical distance; it is thicker than glue and stronger than metal and stone.” We owe the rapid development of BRICS cooperation to our adoption of a right approach, and that is key to the rapid development of BRICS countries' cooperation. Guided by this approach, we have respected and supported each other in following the path of development suited to our respective national conditions. We have pushed forward economic, political and people-to-people cooperation in an open, inclusive and win-win spirit. And, we have worked in unison with other emerging markets and developing countries to uphold international justice and equity and foster a sound external environment.?

當(dāng)前，世界格局發(fā)生了許多深刻復(fù)雜的變化。在這一背景下，金磚合作顯得更加重要。五國人民希望我們攜手促進(jìn)發(fā)展，提高人民福祉。國際社會期待我們維護(hù)世界和平，推動共同發(fā)展。我們應(yīng)該再接再厲，全面深化金磚伙伴關(guān)系，開啟金磚合作第二個“金色十年”。

As the world undergoes profound and complex changes, BRICS cooperation has become more important. Our peoples expect us to jointly boost development and improve their well-being. The international community expects us to make a contribution to world peace and common development. We must redouble our efforts to comprehensively deepen BRICS partnership and usher in the second “golden decade” of BRICS cooperation.?

第一，致力于推進(jìn)經(jīng)濟(jì)務(wù)實合作。務(wù)實合作是金磚合作的根基，在這方面我們成績斐然。同時，我們也要看到，現(xiàn)在，金磚合作潛力還沒有充分釋放出來。據(jù)統(tǒng)計，2016年金磚國家對外投資是1970億美元，只有5.7%發(fā)生在我們五國之間，這說明我們五國還有廣闊合作空間。我們應(yīng)該緊緊圍繞經(jīng)濟(jì)務(wù)實合作這條主線，在貿(mào)易投資、貨幣金融、互聯(lián)互通、可持續(xù)發(fā)展、創(chuàng)新和產(chǎn)業(yè)合作等領(lǐng)域拓展利益匯聚點。

First, we need to seek practical results in our economic cooperation. Results-oriented cooperation is the foundation of BRICS cooperation, and significant progress has been made in this regard. However, we have yet to fully tap the potential of BRICS cooperation. Statistics show that of the $197-billion outbound investment we made in 2016, only 5.7 percent took place among our five countries. This means BRICS cooperation still has broad space. We need to stay focused on promoting results-oriented economic cooperation and expand converging interests in trade and investment, currency and finance, connectivity, sustainable development, innovation and industrial cooperation.?

第二，致力于加強(qiáng)發(fā)展戰(zhàn)略對接。我們五國雖然國情不同，但處在相近的發(fā)展階段，具有相同的發(fā)展目標(biāo)，都已進(jìn)入經(jīng)濟(jì)爬坡過坎的時期。加強(qiáng)發(fā)展戰(zhàn)略對接，發(fā)揮各自在資源、市場、勞動力等方面比較優(yōu)勢，將激發(fā)我們五國增長潛力和30億人民創(chuàng)造力，開辟出巨大的發(fā)展空間。

Second, we need to strengthen the complementarity of our development strategies. Despite our differences in national conditions, our five countries are in a similar stage of development, and we share the same development goals. We all face an arduous task in growing the economy. Strengthening the complementarity of our development strategies will help bring out our comparative strengths in resources, markets and labor force and release the growth potential of the five countries and the creativity of our 3 billion people, opening up huge space for development.?

第三，致力于推動國際秩序朝著更加合理公正的方向發(fā)展。隨著我們五國同世界的聯(lián)系更為緊密，客觀上要求我們積極參與全球治理。沒有我們五國參與，許多重大緊迫的全球性問題難以有效解決，我們就事關(guān)國際和平與發(fā)展的問題共同發(fā)聲，共提方案，既符合國際社會期待，也有助于維護(hù)我們的共同利益。?

Third, we need to make the international order more just and equitable. Our ever-closer ties with the rest of the world require that we five countries play a more active part in global governance. Without our participation, many pressing global challenges cannot be effectively resolved. We should speak with one voice and jointly present our solutions to issues concerning international peace and development. This meets the expectation of the international community and will help safeguard our common interests.?

第四，致力于促進(jìn)人文民間交流。國之交在于民相親，只有深耕厚植，友誼和合作之樹才能夠枝繁葉茂。加強(qiáng)我們五國人文交流，讓伙伴關(guān)系理念扎根人民心中，這是一項值得長期投入的工作。這項工作做好了，將使金磚合作永葆活力。?

Fourth, we need to promote people-to-people exchanges. Amity between the peoples holds the key to sound state-to-state relations. Only with intensive care can the tree of friendship and cooperation grow luxuriant. Enhancing the exchanges among our peoples and seeing the spirit of partnership embraced by all are a worthy cause that deserves our enduring commitment. A job well done in this regard will help us to keep BRICS cooperation vibrant.?
