It's a real pleasure and a privilege to be invited to close the China Britain Business Council's third annual China Business Conference.	很榮幸被邀請參與英中貿(mào)易協(xié)會組織的第三屆中國商務會議。
It's just over a week since I returned from China, having spent two fantastic days alongside His Royal Highness The Duke of Cambridge at the GREAT Festival of Creativity in Shanghai.	一個多星期以前，我剛從中國回來，在上海創(chuàng)意英倫盛典上與劍橋公爵殿下度過了不可思議的兩天。
I think everyone felt they had been part of something truly special.	我想每一位參與者都感到自己體驗了一場真正特殊的盛典。
The Duke described the Festival as making a statement that the UK is excited about partnering with China.	公爵表示創(chuàng)意英倫盛典的舉辦說明英國非常愿意成為中國的合作伙伴。
You could feel the excitement in the air.	你甚至能感覺到連空氣中都夾雜著一絲興奮。
So too the conviction that the future successes of our economies will be shared successes.	我也堅信中英兩國的經(jīng)濟在未來能夠共同發(fā)展，走向成功。
UK creativity	英國的創(chuàng)造力
This was the most incredible coming together of creative talent from Britain and China.	能夠將英國和中國具有創(chuàng)造性天賦的人才聚集到一起這是最不可思議的事情。
I know I wasn't alone in feeling immensely proud that Britain can boast such amazing imagination and innovation, not just in our creative industries but in all sectors of our economy.	我知道我不是唯一一個為英國有神奇的想像力和創(chuàng)造力而感到自豪的人，這不僅僅表現(xiàn)在英國的創(chuàng)意產(chǎn)業(yè)，而且體現(xiàn)在英國各個行業(yè)。
I was equally struck by how many of our businesses said they themselves felt inspired by China's own incredible history and cultural heritage, and the sheer scale and dynamism of modern China.	我很震驚許多英國企業(yè)表示他們被中國驚人的歷史文化遺產(chǎn)中國現(xiàn)代化的經(jīng)濟規(guī)模和市場活力所鼓舞。
The GREAT Festival was living proof of something the UK and Chinese governments have believed for some time.	創(chuàng)意英倫盛典是英國和中國政府共同打造。
Namely that as China continues its reform journey, our two economies are becoming more and more complementary.	隨著中國改革繼續(xù)深化，兩國的經(jīng)濟變得越來越為互補。
China's domestic market is becoming more competitive. Its companies are looking to move up the value chain and access new markets.	中國國內市場的競爭變得越來越激烈。中國企業(yè)正在尋找機會提升價值鏈、開拓新市場。
The UK has the creative and innovative capabilities to help them succeed, and get access to new sources of investment and huge new markets in return.	英國有創(chuàng)造性和創(chuàng)新能力幫助他們成功，作為回報英國能夠獲得新的投資來源和進入新興市場的渠道。
The power of partnership	合作伙伴的力量
As the GREAT Festival proved, this is generating a tremendous appetite on both sides to build new partnerships and collaborations to create something new together.	正如創(chuàng)意英倫盛典證明的那樣，有需求的雙方一起建立新的合作伙伴關系，一起合作，一起創(chuàng)造出新的東西。
The breakthrough bilateral Film Co-production Treaty is a great example.	具有突破性進展的兩國《電影合作協(xié)議》就是一個很好的例子。
This will allow qualifying co-productions to access sources of finance and an easier distribution route to audiences.	符合條件的兩國聯(lián)合制作影片可以從兩國政府那里獲得資金來源并且簡化發(fā)行渠道和審核程序。
And all eligible co-productions will be able to be shown in China, meaning Chinese audiences will be able to enjoy many more British films than under the current quota system.	所有符合條件的合拍影片都能夠在中國播出，這就意味著中國觀眾能夠觀賞比當前英國電影配額制度下更多的英國電影。
Take Pinewood Studios, which is working with Wanda Group to develop their mega studios in Qingdao.	英國頭號制片公司松林制片廠（Pinewood Studios）正在同萬達集團合作在青島開發(fā)大型電影公司。
Or Royal Mail, which has launched a new shop front on Alibaba's Tmall Global e-marketplace to give British retailers and exporters quick and easy access to the Chinese market and direct contact with Chinese customers.	英國皇家郵政已經(jīng)在阿里巴巴旗下的天貓全球商城上開了新的店面，它給英國零售商和出口商提供快速進入中國市場和直接與中國客戶接觸的機會。
And we have Birmingham Airport partnering with Hainan Airlines and leading Chinese tour operator Caissa Touristic to launch 17 return Beijing-Birmingham flights this summer.	伯明翰機場與海南航空公司與中國領先旅行社凱撒網(wǎng)（Caissa Touristic）合作在今年夏天將推出17次返回北京到伯明翰的航班。
This will add around ￡20 millionto Birmingham and the widerWest Midlands economy.	這將會給伯明翰帶來大約兩千萬鎊的收入，并且會帶動西米德蘭茲郡的經(jīng)濟發(fā)展。
And just last week, we saw Thomas Cook form a strategic partnership with the Chinese conglomerate Fosun under which the two companies will invest in Thomas Cook's concept range of hotels and expand the offering to China.	就在上周,我們看到托馬斯·庫克（Thomas Cook）與中國企業(yè)復星集團形成戰(zhàn)略伙伴關系,兩家公司將投資于托馬斯·庫克的概念酒店并且將在中國進行旅游投資。
This isn't just about the flow of money and supporting access to new markets, though that is hugely important.	這不僅僅是有關資金流動以及進入新市場的資金支持。
