”Rise,” emblem of the First World Assembly of Jin Merchants, was selected and made public by the conference executive committee on July 11. The committee began its emblem collection on April 20 and had a collection of 293 potential logos. After three rounds of assessment, the emblem named ‘Rise’ was selected jointly by the Shanxi Merchants research experts, arts and crafts experts and the leaders of the conference executive committee.

The emblem, designated by Wang Junqiang from Heze, Shandong province, is symbolic of Shanxi’s geographical and cultural features. It stands for the province’s promising future and the passion of the masses. Furthermore, the smiling face-like emblem also signifies the local people’s confidence and uprightness and the sincerity of the conference organizers as well.
