The property rights transaction center of Shandong Blue Economic Zone was launched on Mar. 1 in Rizhao, Shandong Province.

Fan Jun, vice director of SASAC of Shandong Province, said that the Shandong Blue Economic Zone is a huge strategic initiative of Shandong to extend the province's economic development from land to ocean.

Miao Wei, the president of the Shandong Property Rights Transaction Center, said that the center will build a unified, standardized and efficient platform for the market allocation of public resources and services for property rights trading. The center hopes to build a platform for regional investment, financing and financial innovation that will meet the requirements for the development of the region's multi-level capital market.

Rizhao, the only major port city in the south of Shandong Province, and provides a variety of resources to service port and maritime-related industries in the region.
