Built in 1888, the Tianjin Railway Station went through an expansion project since January 2007 for the upcoming Beijing Olympic Games. The newly renovated Tianjin Railway Station will be put into use on Aug. 1, 2008, the same day as the Beijing-Tianjin express railway opens to the public.
