1936-1952 Grain supplies official, civil magistrate, auditor, governor and high official in Qamdo Prefecture in Tibet local government (During the period: Signed an accord with central government in Beijing on measures for peaceful liberation of Tibetas chief negotiator of Tibet local government in 1951)

1952-1959 First deputy commander of Tibet Military Area Command and lieutenant general, section chief, secretary-general and vice-chairman of Preparatory Committee of Tibet Autonomous Region, and member of National Defense Council
