An overweight young man, who successfully lost half his weight, also found true love at the weight-loss center.

Deng Xuejian, 24, a Tianjin resident who used to weigh more than 200 kilograms, has successfully reduced his weight to 95 kg over the past two years by doing sports and following a scientific diet. The young man also won the love of a 23-year-old woman who was also receiving treatment at the center.

In 2009, Deng went to Jilin province, under a subsidy from Tianjin municipal government, to take weight-loss treatment. After realizing that his money was not enough for a year's treatment, Deng donated the money to a local dropout student. Fortunately, his charitable act impressed doctors at the center, who offered him free treatment.

Now close to finishing his treatment, Deng said his biggest hope is to go back to a normal life and find a job to support his family.
