Nearly 60 percent of college girls want to marry the "Rich Second Generation" who are men born after the 1980s into rich families and who stand to inherit large amounts of assets from their parents.

The survey by the Women's Federation of Guangzhou, in South China's Guangdong province, and cited by Information Times, found that 59.2 percent prefer to marry the "Rich Second Generation" and 57.6 percent choose men with great potentials as their life partner.

"Many college girls are more than willing to find their love in men from Rich Second Generation to pursue a comfortable life by a less personal struggle," Professor Liu Shuqian from Guangzhou University said.

As for the response to their partner's unfaithfulness, 20 percent of girls say they can tolerate occasional infidelity by their partners. While, only 10 percent say they will be loyal to one person in a life time.

This survey of 992 respondents, lasting 3 months from January to March in 2010, aims to look into the values of college girls on issues like interpersonal relationships.
