Suning Appliance Co, China's second-largest electronics
retailer, said profit growth in the first nine months of the year
exceeded its estimates, with earnings more than doubling.
The company's January-to-September net profit rose 110 percent
from a year earlier, more than the estimate of a 70- percent to 100
percent gain, Suning said on Saturday in a statement to the
Shenzhen Stock Exchange. Suning's net profit in the nine months to
September last year was 458.7 million yuan (US$60.7 million).
