The China Investment Corporation (CIC) officially opened its Chinese-English bilingual website on September 22 to improve visibility on the corporation's operations.

This is CIC's debut on the internet following its founding last year. People can get information not only on its organization, statutes, and investment principles, but also on its core values and its ambitious pursuit of specialization and globalization.

"We are so glad to see it open officially, and hope we can communicate well with others through this bridge. In order to improve its transparency and build it into an international specialist investment corporation, we will regularly enrich and renew the contents of the website," said Lou Jiwei, CEO of CIC.

Recruitment information and an introduction to CIC's subsidiary company – Central Huijin Investment Corporation(CHIC) can be found on its home page, with a link to the latter's website.

Founded on September 29, 2007, CIC is a 100 percent state-owned corporation with 200 billion US dollars as registered capital. Independent of the government, it makes its own decisions and invests globally in equity, fixed-income bonds, and other types of asset.
