The Beijing Municipal Radio and Television Bureau has launched a package of policy measures to optimize the business environment, promote high-quality content creation, and strengthen talent development in the cultural and audiovisual sectors.

Key initiatives include personalized support services for enterprises that produce micro-dramas. Recognizing the fast-paced nature of micro-dramas, the bureau has established a dedicated taskforce to offer professional guidance and expedite review processes for the works.

Additionally, the bureau has implemented an action plan providing comprehensive support across all growth stages of audiovisual enterprises. This includes targeted assistance for cultural tech companies from startup to maturity, ensuring precise implementation of policies and allocation of resources.

To boost the efficiency of high-quality content creation, the bureau has established a mechanism in recent years that coordinates the planning, production, and promotion of radio, television, and online audiovisual works. In addition, the bureau issued guidelines on animation industry development in late 2023, accelerating the adoption of advanced technologies and promoting the industrialization of animated films.

Beijing has adopted a tailored approach to policy support, creating customized solutions that address the specific challenges and needs of cultural and audiovisual companies. These companies can also benefit from streamlined online processes via a "one-stop" platform and personalized follow-up services.

In recent years, the city has held events like the first Conference on the Creation of High-Quality Products in Radio and Television of China and the Beijing Animation Week, to further foster innovation, break information barriers, and promote collaboration across industry, education, and research.

In terms of talent development, Beijing has launched a comprehensive action plan to cultivate audiovisual expertise, aiming to build a globally competitive talent ecosystem with strong innovation capabilities. As part of this initiative, the inaugural "Jinglangya" project has attracted high-caliber professionals to strengthen the city's cultural tech and audiovisual sectors.
