Ma Dongmin?was born in Hefei, Anhui Province. She studied in junior classes which is famous for having talent children who is under fifteen in University of Science and Technology of China. And the main purpose of this class is cultivating students the ability of creation and innovation. Ms.Ma graduated from Biology department, New Jersey University in the United States. When she met Robin Li (Li Yanhong), she was studying on Biological Sciences for a PHD.

In 1995, Li Yanhong met Ms.Ma at a party which celebrated the gathering of the Chinese overseas students.?Lee almost fell in love at the first sight with Ma. After half a year, they got married, and?had a daughter.

"She is more ambitions than me," Li said, "Actually, it is my wife's advice which leads me to the correct direction. In fact, I am not a man who likes to explore and take risks, but my wife is. In the road of exploration, it is her who pushes me forward."
