Siemens received revenue of about 28 billion euros for businesses related to the environmental protection industry in China last year.

China is Siemens' major market for environmental protection. Its eco-business revenue accounted for about 30 percent of its total revenue in the Chinese market.

Siemens' environmental protection business is focused on power supply, medical care, building automation and energy-saving lamp systems.
