China Petroleum and Chemical Corp, Asia's largest refiner, started expanding a 500,000-ton-a-year, or 10,000-barrel-a-day, oil-processing plant in Guangxi Zhuang Autnomous Region to increase fuel supply in the region.
The refinery in Beihai will increase its annual output to 660,000 tons of gasoline, 800,000 tons of diesel and 435,000 tons of bunker fuel oil, parent China Petrochemical Corp said on its Website Wednesday.
