Northwest China:
From January 14 to 16, the region’s eastern areas and northern Xinjiang, affected by cold air, will have light to moderate snow or snow showers with temperatures falling. In addition, force 4 to 6 northerly winds will hit northern Xinjiang. From January 18 to 20, most parts of the region can expect light to moderate snow, turning heavy in northern Xinjiang and some eastern areas. The region will also experience force 4 to 6 northerly winds and substantially declining temperatures.

North China: From January 14 to 15, most parts of the region will have force 4 to 5 northerly winds with temperatures falling slightly. From January 16 to 17, most parts will be cloudy to overcast with force 3 to 4 northerly winds. From January 19 to 20, affected by cold air, the region will be overcast with light snow or snow showers, force 4 to 5 northerly winds and declining temperatures in some areas.

Northeast China: From January 14 to 16, most parts of the region will be sunny to cloudy with force 4 to 5 northerly winds and falling temperatures. On January 17, most parts will be cloudy to overcast. From January 18 to 19, most parts will be sunny to cloudy with climbing temperatures. A cold current of air will befall the region around January 20 and bring about wind and snow. It will also cause the temperatures to drop.?

Central China: On January 14, the region will be sunny to cloudy except southern and western Hunan, which will see light rain or sleet or showers. From January 15 to 17, most parts of the region can expect light to moderate rain or snow or sleet. But some mid-northern areas will have heavy snow and relatively low temperatures. From January 18 to 20, most parts will be sunny to cloudy with morning and evening fog in some areas. But the mid-western and northern areas will be overcast with light rain or snow.

East China: From January 14 to 15, the region’s southern coastal areas will see showers; its northern areas, affected by cold air, will experience force 4 to 5 northerly winds with declining temperatures. From January 16 to 18, mort parts will see light to moderate rain or snow or sleet but the Yangtze-Huaihe area will have heavy snow and relatively low temperatures. From January 19 to 20, most parts will be sunny to cloudy with morning fog in some areas.

South China: From January 14 to 15, the region’s mid-northern areas will be overcast with light to moderate rain; its coastal areas will experience force 4 to 6 northeasterly or easterly winds. From January 16 to 17, most parts of the region will see light rain, turning moderate in some western areas. From January 18 to 20, the western and northern areas will be overcast with light rain or showers while the eastern areas will be cloudy with morning fog.

Southwest China: From January 14 to 16, Sichuan Basin, Chongqing, Guizhou, eastern Yunnan and southeastern Tibet will be overcast with light rain or snow or sleet. From January 17 to 18, the eastern areas of the region will see light rain or snow or sleet. Around January 20, the region’s eastern areas and most parts of Tibet will experience relatively heavy rainfall.?
