Tianjin Zoo Seeks Funds for Feeding Animals
Adjust font size:

A zoo in the Tianjin Municipality is looking for people to help support food expenditures meat-eating animals such as tigers and bears that are currently being fed only once a day for lack of funds.

The zoo needs at least 300 yuan (US$38) each day to buy enough foods, particularly meats, for the animals. But its daily income from admission tickets is only about 100 yuan, Ning, head of the zoo, said on Tuesday.
