Oldest Panda Awaits Adoption
Adjust font size:

The oldest known giant panda living in China, Tao Tao, is waiting for adoption. The Jinan Zoo in eastern Shandong province, where the 34-year-old panda lives, hopes adopters can finance the building of a better environment for her later years. Experts say Tao Tao's age is equal to that of a 100-year-old human being. Despite her old age, she is quite healthy, apart from suffering from cataracts. The photo was taken on Sunday, April 1, 2007.
