Rain Expected on Valentine's Day
Adjust font size:

Shanghai may have a wet Valentine's Day as showers will fall in the city from tomorrow afternoon.

Shanghai Meteorological Bureau forecasted that rain will replace the clear weather in the following days of the week. It will be drizzling on Friday, the day before Chinese New Year's Eve, which is a time for families and friends to reunite.

But it isn't clear whether the New Year's Eve will encounter rain, the report said.

Arrivals of some cold fronts from northern China will reduce the city's temperature in the later half of this week.

The high will be 17 Celsius degrees tomorrow and the low will be 9 degrees. The temperature on Valentine's Day will be between 10 degrees and 6 degrees and between 9 degrees and 6 degrees on Friday.
