Jointly curated by the mall and Disney China, the carnival runs through Jan. 4, 2026, featuring large-scale scene reconstructions, interactive installations and exclusive merchandise inspired by the Pixar franchise.
Spanning 2,400 square meters, the exhibition reimagines the space from a toy's perspective, incorporating giant toy blocks, colorful ball pits, oversized toy components and light projections. A suspended installation featuring Woody and Forky in the south skylight area depicts iconic scenes from the movies, while an interactive bookshelf brings characters to life with projection technology.
"Beyond these playful installations, we've prepared creative workshops where everyone can craft their own toy stories," said INDIGO General Manager Wang Tianbin, during a Woody and Buzz Lightyear meet-and-greet event on Nov. 22.
The venue also houses a Disney pop-up store offering limited-edition merchandise, such as Buzz Lightyear collectibles. Limited workshops are scheduled to unleash visitors' creativity and craft their unique souvenirs.
As one of Beijing's leading integrated commercial complexes, INDIGO has long explored connections between retail and cultural experiences. This latest collaboration with Disney showcases its commitment to providing Beijing residents with fresh cultural consumption opportunities.
