Supported by the Italian Cultural Institute of Beijing, Italian artist Rudy Pulcinelli's "REFLETTERE" exhibition is held at CHAO Art Center in Sanlitun, Beijing, from Aug. 24 to Sept. 24, 2025. The show is centred around a new body of prints and mixed-media works. Pulcinelli transforms an abstract, architectural visual language into tangible forms using paper, cardboard, porcelain, and copperplate.
For more than 30 years, Pulcinelli has blended architectural expertise with painterly intuition to create a unique artistic practice. In Beijing, he approached printmaking as both a limitation and an opportunity, merging glyph-like marks with rich material textures. This exhibition invites viewers to pause and engage deeply — encouraging them to see the prints not merely as illustrations, but as inscriptions where language, memory, and physical substance converge.
