Since the program launched, organizers received 707 submissions nationwide. A jury of seasoned industry experts selected 30 finalists, with winners announced at the "Panda Takes You to Look Around the World" film and TV project launch event at the second Golden Panda Awards.
Supported by Sichuan-based Emei Film Group, the province's leading film company, the program set out to create an open and professional platform focused on scripts. Its goals included stimulating creativity, nurturing new talent, uncovering quality material and screenwriters, deepening ties between culture and related industries, and advancing the film and TV sector.
Director and producer Jiang Ping, president of the China Xia Yan Film Institute and jury president, said in his address that the shortlisted and awarded scripts span a wide range of themes and offer fresh perspectives.
"After careful and repeated deliberations by the jury, the winning works were selected. It is particularly encouraging that most of the award-winning authors are new faces, signaling a promising and bright future for Chinese cinema," he said.
Jiang urged young screenwriters to uphold cultural confidence, draw from real life and take on social responsibility in their writing.

Chen Bin, vice chairman and general manager of Emei Film Group, said scripts are the foundation and soul of film and TV, with strong works embodying both the spirit of the times and humanistic values.
"The first Golden Panda script incubation program serves as a vital platform for showcasing and nurturing high-quality scripts and creative talent," he said, promising Emei Film Group will always keep its doors open for collaboration and support outstanding scripts.
The film company also announced newly appointed artistic advisors, an art committee and a technical committee, along with a young filmmakers initiative aimed at building a core talent pool and a high-quality project incubation platform. It also inaugurated the Emei Film Group Production Service Center.
A signing ceremony was held for the film project "Su Shi," a biopic on the Song dynasty poet, essayist, painter and statesman. Emei Film Group has designated it as its top production, with plans to bring in National Theater of China President Tian Qinxin as both writer and director.
