Editor's Note: Festival Croisements, an annual event promoting French arts and culture in China, is underway for its 19th edition.
Running from April to July, this year's festival features 325 events across 31 cities in China. Among this year's highlights is "Géométrie Variable," a solo exhibition by French artist Chloé Silbano at Carte Blanche, Winland IFC in Beijing, open from May 23 to July 17.
The festival, launched in 2006 by the French Embassy in China, has become a major platform for Sino-French cultural exchanges. The 2024 edition celebrated the 60th anniversary of diplomatic ties between France and China and the China-France Year of Cultural Tourism.
