Beijing to Set up 800 Mobile Toilets
Adjust font size:

The Chinese capital plans to position 800 mobile toilets around the Olympic sports venues in 2008.

"Beijing is working to ensure better toilet facilities for people coming to the Olympics," said Wu Qiwei, official in charge of environmental facilities during the Olympic games.

"Tourist sites, and major roads will also be included in the plan," he said.

Beijing, with a population of more than 14 million, currently has about 8,000 public toilets.
